Visitor analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand and improve the site. Pages visited, device and browser information, and clicks on content links may be sent to Google. Cookies and online identifiers may be used.
Event data is retained for 2 months and user data for 14 months. New activity resets the user data retention period. These periods differ from the lifetime of standard aggregate reports and browser cookies. Google data retention guidance
Analytics preferences
Basic analytics is on by default in South Korea and the United States. Elsewhere, it starts only after you allow it; if the region cannot be determined, it stays off. Analytics also stays off when your browser sends Global Privacy Control.
You can allow or reject analytics at any time in analytics preferences. Rejecting does not restrict access to the content. Your choice is stored for this site and browser. Explicit permission lasts 180 days; rejection lasts until you change it or clear site data.
When permission expires, the default for your current region applies again. Set preferences separately on other devices and profiles. Rejecting stops future collection but does not delete data already sent or existing cookies. The Overwatch guide is a separate site with its own analytics preferences.
We do not use Google signals or ad personalization for visitor analytics. Page URL query strings and fragments are removed, and only the referrer origin is sent. Google may process information on servers outside your country. How Google uses information
Advertising connection and consent
We use Google AdSense connection code, with ad requests and Auto ads currently switched off. Loading the code may send information such as your IP address and browser details to Google and read existing Google cookies. Cookies may be used to remember consent choices.
Advertising consent is separate from analytics consent. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, you can choose in Google's consent message and change your choice through “Ad privacy choices” when shown in the footer. The advertising code also stays off if Global Privacy Control is on or you have a saved analytics rejection for this site.
Site delivery
Cloudflare may process network request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare privacy policy
Email enquiries
When you contact us through Gmail, we use your email address, message and attachments to review and answer your enquiry. We delete them within 90 days after the enquiry is resolved. If a legal retention obligation or an ongoing dispute requires it, we keep only what is necessary until that reason ends, then delete it.
